![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I can't count the number of times I was ready to rage quit because I spent ages piling up wood to load on a trailer but then they constantly would fall here and there, forcing me to push them and manipulate them to get them lined back up again. Log forks in FS have long been a pain in the butt. It worked better in 17 but it still tends to grip much better than the other forks. The best fork I've found are the ones on the dedicated trailers like the Scorpion or the Stepa tends to be the best one. It's still wonky and the trick above helps a bit too. The smaller log fork (the one you can attach to tractors with front loaders) is better for handling smaller log pieces. It's dumb but it works better for me at least. I tend to stop-turn-move forward (to get you turned where you want to go)-stop-straighten out-move forward. The physics will end up just dropping them. One thing that helps is: don't turn and move forward at the same time with logs in the fork. If you don't go the modding route, I've found that the wheelloader forks (the big claw) works best with large log pieces. ![]()
